| Summary, etc. | La presente obra está dirigida a los estudiantes de ingeniería y ciencias en general, y es el resultado de la experiencia del autor, obtenida a lo largo de veinticinco años. <br/><br/>Desde el principio, fue una intención del ingeniero Díaz aplicar la teoría a situaciones reales, y el resultado es un contenido equilibrado entre la teoría y la práctica. A lo largo del texto se incluyen situaciones selectas de ingeniería, ciencia y aplicación matemática, con el fin de estimular la reflexión del estudiante y no la mera memorización de los temas tratados. <br/><br/>Para la práctica por computadora, los algoritmos se codificaron en el lenguaje QBasic, sobre todo por su sencillez, pero el lector queda en libertad de codificar sus programas en el lenguaje que más le convenga. También se hace uso del programa Excel para resolver diversos problemas propuestos.<br/><br/>Tanto el profesor como el alumno encontrarán de utilidad los abundantes ejercicios, prácticas y autoevaluaciones que incluye la obra; además, con respuestas. |
