| Summary, etc. | Esta segunda edición pretende dejar constancia del alcance y prestaciones de la solución numérica de la mecánica de los sólidos. La creciente facilidad de uso y rapidez de calculo de software de simulación mecánica, como "solidworks", hace mas atractiva al alumno la resolución de problemas de elasticidad y resistencia de materiales. parece primordial, no obstante, la comparación de resultados en varios ejercicios con la solución teórica; con ello se persigue sensibilizar al lector de los peligros que una utilización irreflexiva e infundada de la herramienta numérica podría entrañar. También se incide con más intensidad en aquellos aspectos que facilitan la comprensión de los procesos y variables del Diseño Mecánico auxiliado por ordenador, como el proceso modelado, comprendiendo las fases de aislar un sistema sólido real de su entorno, estimar las cargas que sobre él actúan y averiguar sus condiciones de desplazamiento. |
