| Summary, etc. | "Es este libro se abordan los tratamientos biológicos de aguas residuales tanto desde el punto de vista estrictamente científico como del técnico. Se aborda primeramente la exposición de las bases bioquímicas de aplicación general a todos los tratamientos biológicos. Como metodología básica para representar todos los procesos biológicos que pueden darse simultáneamente se utiliza la propuesta por los grupos de trabajo de la Internacional Water Association (IWA), expuesta en diversos modelos, fundamentalmente ASM1 y ASM2. Esta metodología se aplica a los procesos utilizados en la linea de agua para la eliminación de materia orgánica, nitrógeno, y fósforo y a los utilizados en la línea de fangos, para la digestión aerobia o anaerobia de los fangos. |
