Mucho se ha escrito sobre la ciencia, la investigación científica y la esencia de la universidad, pero casi siempre en estilo ditirámbico, y pocas veces con seriedad y responsabilidad. Los políticos tradicionales siempre han dicho que: "la ciencia es poder ", "vivimos en la era del conocimiento", "la investigación científica es la misión esencial de la universidad", "universidad que no investiga no es universidad", etc. etc.; sin embargo cuando se trata de corregir las distorsiones de la misión de la universidad peruana, los congresistas ligados a intereses particulares, el ministro de Economía y Finanzas, el Fiscal de la Nación, y funcionarios del poder ejecutivo, legislativo cuando se trata de enfrentar los problemas relacionados con estos ítems, no ven, no escuchan, no hablan y adoptan el estilo del mono sabio. |
