| Summary, etc. | El presente trabajo de investigación tuvo por fmalidad determinar la actividad antibacteriana del aceite esencial de "muíia - muña" Satureja brevicalyx epling obtenido de una de las Provincia de Apurímac. El cual se obtuvo por el método de destilación por arrastre de vapor de agua; posteriormente fue sometido a un análisis Fisicoquímico, así como a la determinación de su composición química por medio del Espectrómetro de masas acoplado a un Cromatógrafo de gases (EM/CO) e incorporado un detector de ionización de llama {FID). La actividad antibacteriana se determinó por el método de difusión en agar; resultando en orden de sensibilidad, para Bacillus cereus 21,67 mm; Listeria monocytogenes 17,67 Iilm y Echerichia coli ll,67mm. La concentración mínima inhibitoria (CMI) y la concentración mínima bactericida (CBM), se determinó por el método de dilución en microplacas y cultivo en placas, resultando para Bacíllus cereus l,S63 ¡.tg/mL de CMI y 1,563 ¡.tg/mL de CBM, Listeria monocytogenes 0,781 ¡.tglrnL de CMI y O, 781 ¡.tg/mL de CBM y para Echerichia coli 1,563 ¡.tg/mL de CMI y 3,125 ¡.tg/mL de CBM. Se detectó presencia de fenoles, los que validan la actividad antimicrobiana del aceite esencial de Satureja brevicalyx epling. |
