Summary, etc.	Este libro de Michel Bourgeois invita a un debate profundo sobre la enseñanza de la gimnasia. Mezclando datos científicos de última hora y sus propias experiencias, el autor nos lleva más allá de los tópicos. Sus planteamientos desbordan ampliamente el marco de la gimnasia y sugieren una visión más amplia de los preceptos de la Educación Física Escolar. La calidad del texto y de las ilustraciones, así como la documentación, acompañan una argumentación rigurosa al servicio de una convicción firmemente expuesta. Para presentar una gimnasia atractiva se ha desarrollado una metodología en tres etapas en la parte técnico-pedagógica. Esta analiza con realismo unos cuarenta elementos técnicos que constituyen las bases de esta disciplina. Más de dos mil dibujos de G. Chautemps añaden frescura a este trabajo. En fin, una bocanada de oxígeno para los pedagogos quienes, esperamos, tendrán el placer de proponer a todos una gimnasia lúcida y educativa.
