| Summary, etc. | La acogida de la primera edición de este libro no sólo se ha circunscrito al ámbito de las Facultades y Laboratorios de Psicología, sino que ha tenido importante repercusión en Escuelas de Informática y en Facultades de Filosofía, en donde este manual se ha utilizado como apoyo en numerosos cursos. En esta nueva edición, se han corregido erratas y deslices y se han incorporado algunas modificaciones o matizaciones en diversos capítulos o secciones. También se ha anexado un glosario completo de términos. Este libro expone y discute determinados pormenores de la actividad cognitiva humana, tales como las aproximaciones teóricas desde las que se ha realizado su análisis científico, las arquitecturas simbólicas y neuromorfas propuestas para su descripción, el control cognitivo del procesamiento, las relaciones entre cognición y acción, mecanismos mnésicos y determinadas cuestiones vinculadas al pensamiento humano. El propósito ha sido dirigir la obra tanto a estudiantes universitarios como a personas que, desde otras disciplinas, estén interesadas en el estudio que de la mente humana se ha realizado desde las ciencias cognitivas y especialmente, dada la formación del autor, desde la psicología. |
