| Summary, etc. | La presente obra -que constituye la publicación más importante de STENHOUSE- supone un tratamiento de los problemas curriculares, de la investigación y del profesorado, planteando un pensamiento elaborado en relación con la propia práctica de confeccionar y llevar a la acción el curriculum. Este modelo curricular supone relacionar tres elementos básicos: el respeto a la naturaleza del conocimiento ya su metodología, la toma en consideración del proceso de aprendizaje y el enfoque coherente del proceso de enseñanza con los dos puntos anteriores. El curriculum se concibe como un análisis de la práctica, como un marco en el que hay que resolver problemas concretos planteados en situaciones diversas. Las ideas expuestas por STENHOUSE plantean, frente al modelo rígido de objetivos, una vía alternativa de entender la elaboración de los planes de estudio, que puede ofrecer perspectivas muy sugerentes para los profesionales de la enseñanza y los interesados en iniciarse en este importante campo. |
