| Summary, etc. | La iniciativa de establecer un sistema nacional de estándares educativos para determinar ¿que deberían aprender los estudiantes? y ¿como sabe la sociedad que han aprendido?, surge en los Estados Unidos en la década de los ochenta y , desde entonces, es objeto de diversos desarrollos y debate en todos los estados y por parte de asociaciones de profesores, comunidades, instituciones de investigación, etc.<br/>Posteriormente, el tema de estándares educativos fue incluido como una de las recomendaciones hechas a los gobiernos de América Latina, por parte de organismos internacionales, para ser tenida en cuenta en los procesos de reformas educativas.<br/>Es así como hoy día, junto con los temas de currículo, evaluación y calidad de la educación; el d estándares educativos hace parte de proyectos en marcha en varios países de la región.<br/>Estos materiales que presentan diversos puntos de vista como resultados de investigaciones, desarrollo el proyectos en estándares y discusiones desde el aula de clase, contribuirán a enriquecerse los debates que actualmente se adelantan en torno a esta temática. |
