| Summary, etc. | La investigación que conforma este volumen presenta una sistematización de la información medioambiental en busca de elaborar modelos de sistemas de información y alerta temprana que permitan prepararse ante los nuevos escenarios del cambio climático ya que, a partir de lo dicho líneas arriba, el acceso y uso de información y conocimientos apropiados por parte de la población y de las instituciones locales es fundamental para evaluar los cambios y las situaciones de riesgo (análisis de los distintos factores de la vulnerabilidad, amenazas y capacidades) a fin de orientar y tomar decisiones informadas y adecuadas, adaptarse a situaciones cambiantes y, en consecuencia, reducir la vulnerabilidad de la población. |
