Summary, etc.	El presente texto, trata del proceso de planificación estratégica, permite la definición de la estrategia e incluye como elemento fundamental, un análisis tanto externo, como interno, que dará lugar a lo que se conoce, como análisis DAFO. Una magnífica herramienta, para llevar a cabo el análisis interno, es la autoevaluación EFQM. El modelo EFQM de Excelencia, es un conjunto de criterios, que recogen buenas prácticas de gestión de organizaciones excelentes. El cuadro de Mando Integral (Balance Scorecard), es un modelo de gestión estratégica, que ayuda a las organizaciones a desplegar su estrategia y hacer un seguimiento y mejora de la misma. El despliegue de la estrategia se materializa en objetivos estratégicos, indicadores, metas e iniciativas. Aquellas iniciativas que tengan una gran cantidad de datos, requieran un análisis estadístico y tengan un gran impacto en los resultados empresariales, podrán abordarse con la metodología seis sigma , conocida como DMAIC (definir, medir, analizar, mejorar y controlar).
